Kathy Sienko brings a combination of public and private sector nursing experience, along with clinical and operational experience, to her role as Chief Nursing Officer at AHMC.
Prior to joining Aldara, Kathy held the position of Deputy Executive Director for Nursing Affairs at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre for five years, where she was instrumental in helping the Centre gain Magnet Hospital Status in 2014. Previously, she spent almost a decade working in leadership positions in Fortune 500 and FTSE100 companies in London and Europe, including Cerner Corporation and British Telecom.
Kathy qualified as a Nurse at Kings College, UK in 1993. She has held several clinical and leadership roles including Staff Nurse, Head Nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist and adjunct. She was one of the first Nurse Consultants to be appointed in the UK and was also Deputy Chief Nurse at a London teaching Hospital.
She also served as Non-Executive Board Director at NHS Hounslow, a NHS Primary Care Healthcare organization in the UK. In 2008, she was appointed as a Public Appointments Ambassador for the UK Government Equalities Office.
