On Thursday, June 24, 2021, in the presence of the CEO and staff of Aldara Hospital, Aldara honored one of its nurses, Josephine, who was nominated by patients and staff, and offered her the Daisy Nursing Award sponsored by the Cinnabon chain.
Josephine expressed her gratitude for this honoring event organized by the hospital and the members in charge.
The Daisy Nursing Award was created in the United States in 1999 by the family of J. Patrick Barnes who died at age 33. The nursing care Patrick received when hospitalized profoundly touched his family who created this award to celebrate the nurses as in appreciation of the care, he received from them. This award began in the United States of America and then spread to reach the whole world.
Aldara adopted this award to support medical staff and encourage them to take care of patients. Josephine was granted this award in recognition of her efforts in the service of patients.
