Dr. Safa Mohamed Osman is an internal medicine consultant/internist who joined Aldara in March 2019, bringing over 20 years of experience in the field of internal medicine.
Prior to joining Aldara, Dr. Safa worked in Ranson, West Virginia (U.S.) as an internist at Valley Health Internal Medicine and Jefferson Primary Care, PLLC.
Compassionate and tenacious, Dr. Safa is well-versed in handling acute and chronic diseases such as infectious and endocrine diseases, along with women’s health, anxiety, depression, bronchitis, allergies, obesity, arthritis and treating overweight patients.
She is a renowned expert in the field of internal medicine, with advanced education and practice in gerontology. Dr. Safa is a firm advocate of the distinction between living longer and living healthier lives and is dedicated to the wellbeing of her patients, with a special focus on prevention and wellness.
Dr. Safa earned her medical degree from Omdurman Islamic University (OIU) Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in Sudan in 1998 and went on to complete her residency at New York Medical College, Montefiore Medical Center, in 2007. She then attended the University of Phoenix (U.S), where she obtained a master’s degree in health administration and gerontology in 2016.
Dr. Safa received the ‘Top Doctor Award’ in Ranson, West Virginia, in 2017 and the ‘Top Doctor Award’ by Continental Who’s Who in 2018. She is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Obesity Medicine and the New Medical College Association.
